How to play Balatro
- Select up to five cards and play them as a poker hand. The hand type sets the base chips and multiplier; card values add to it.
- You get a limited number of hands and discards per blind. Discarding refills your hand without scoring.
- Between blinds, visit the shop. Jokers change how hands score; use them to build a strategy around one or two hand types.
- Beat the blind's chip target to advance. Fail and the run ends.
