A first-person shooter sketched entirely in blue ballpoint pen on notebook paper. Play online multiplayer or solo survival waves — mouse & keyboard, controller, slides, wall-jumps, a grapple hook and a katana are all supported.
Doodle Shooter is a first-person shooter drawn entirely in blue ballpoint pen on lined notebook paper — the walls, the weapons, the enemies, all sketched. Under the art it is a fast movement shooter: you can slide, wall-jump, swing on a grapple hook and switch to a katana, and it supports online multiplayer as well as a solo survival mode against waves.
It is hosted on Vercel (doodleshooter.vercel.app) and loads straight into the browser. We keep a copy here, which covers the solo Survival mode completely; the online multiplayer lobby still needs the original site, because matchmaking runs through a service our copy cannot stand in for.
How to play Doodle Shooter
- Choose Multiplayer to join other players online, or Survival to fight waves alone.
- Mouse and keyboard: WASD to move, mouse to aim and shoot. A controller is also supported.
- Movement is the meta. Chain slides and wall-jumps to stay hard to hit, use the grapple to close distance, and pull out the katana when you are close.
- Fullscreen and pointer lock make aiming much easier.
Controls: Mouse & keyboard or controller. Slides, wall-jumps, a grapple hook and a katana are all supported.
Click Fullscreen above the game for the largest play area. If the game does not load, use Open in new tab to play it directly from our copy.
Why it's worth your time
Survival mode runs entirely from our copy — waves, weapons, the grapple, the katana, all of it. Multiplayer is the part that needs the network, so use the original address for that. Pointer lock is required for aiming, so the game asks for it on first click, and a controller is detected automatically when connected. It is a desktop game: a phone loads the page but there is no way to aim.
It is the most mechanically ambitious game here — a networked FPS with an advanced movement set — and the notebook-doodle art style is not a filter, the assets really are drawn that way.
How it was made and where it lives
Hosted on Vercel. Original: https://doodleshooter.vercel.app. The Play button above runs our own unmodified copy, so the game keeps working here if that page goes down — which on free hosting usually has nothing to do with the author. Nothing about the game itself is changed, and the original stays linked from every page.

The other shooter in the collection is DUST II · Desert Ops, which is a map to explore rather than a game to win. The other multiplayer title, Migratory, is currently offline. For a completely different pace, Infinite Garden is the collection's slowest game and its most elaborate single file.
