A three-round boxing match against a CPU opponent in a low-poly underground fight club. Move with WASD, throw punches with J and K, guard with L and dodge with Space — the round timer and a running hit count are the only UI on screen besides the two health bars.
Underground Boxing is a three-round boxing match against a CPU opponent, staged in a low-poly "UNDERGROUND FIGHT CLUB" lit by a single spotlight and watched by a cornerman and a row of onlookers. Each fighter has a health bar and a stamina bar; a round clock and a running hit count sit between them. It plays like a stripped-down arcade boxer rather than a simulation — two punch buttons, a guard and a dodge, nothing more.
It was posted by Sonic的奇思妙想 (@sonic0828) on X on 9 September 2026, one of four small games — this one, Shell Squad 3D, Street Kid and Ski Cross — the account posted in a single afternoon, all made with GPT-6 Astra and all hosted on the author's own iamsonic.net rather than a chatgpt.site subdomain.
It is entirely keyboard-driven. The page renders fine on a phone-sized screen, but no touch controls appear anywhere — the on-screen instructions never change from WASD and the letter keys, so a keyboard is genuinely required.
How to play Underground Boxing
- Click 开始 (Start) on the title card to begin round one. Matches run up to three 60-second rounds.
- Move with WASD.
- J and K throw two different punches; L raises your guard; Space dodges.
- Watch the stamina bar under each health bar as well as the health itself — the fight tracks both.
- A hit counter under the round clock (命中) tallies landed punches for both fighters as the round goes.
Click Fullscreen above the game for the largest play area. If the game does not load, use Open in new tab to play it directly from our copy.
Why it's worth your time
It is one of two boxing-style games in this same batch of four, and the two take opposite approaches to winning: this one is round-and-health scoring, while Street Kid wins a round by physically shoving the opponent into a manhole.
Despite a fully responsive layout that reflows correctly at phone width, there is no on-screen d-pad or punch buttons anywhere in the build — contrast that with Street Kid from the same account, which ships six labelled touch buttons.
The interface text — 你 / 对手, 回合, 命中, 被击中 — is in Chinese throughout; only the UNDERGROUND FIGHT CLUB signage is in English.
How it was made and where it lives
Hosted on the author's own page. The author publishes as sonic0828. Original: https://iamsonic.net/2026/mini-games/underground-boxing.html. The Play button above runs our own unmodified copy, so the game keeps working here if that page goes down — which on free hosting usually has nothing to do with the author. Nothing about the game itself is changed, and the original stays linked from every page.
