An English daily word game about a small alien stranded on Earth. Answer six questions with unusual valid words to help the journey continue. This copy hosts the frontend locally while the original service supplies questions and scoring.
Stranded is a daily English word game from Last Minute Productions. A small alien has crashed on Earth; your answers help decide how far the journey goes. Instead of rewarding only the obvious word, it gives more credit to valid answers that other players use less often.
This page runs the self-hosted game frontend and artwork, not a video. It still connects to the creator's daily-question and scoring service, so it is not an offline archive. Original game · Creator's X post.
How to play Stranded
- Give the homepage a few seconds to receive the current daily questions, then press RUN. Starting too early can show a placeholder question; if that happens, reload and wait before starting.
- Read the prompt and type a valid answer into the text field. Press SUBMIT or tap the button on a phone.
- Look at the resulting score and rarity label. The original game's description explains that less-common answers earn more, so an ordinary correct word is useful but may not be the highest-scoring choice.
- The original run contains six questions and a journey ending based on the total. The verification for this listing covers an actual scored answer on desktop and mobile, not completing all six questions or every ending.
- Guest play is the tested route. Account sign-in, history synchronization and related services are not supported claims for this mirror.
Controls: Wait for the daily data to load, then press RUN. Read each question, type an answer and press SUBMIT. Uncommon valid answers score more. On phones, use the on-screen keyboard and tap the buttons.
Click Fullscreen above the game for the largest play area. If the game does not load, use Open in new tab to play it directly from our copy.
Why it's worth your time
The frontend, scene artwork, interface modules and captured fonts are stored on this site. Current questions and score calculation remain at the original creator's cloud service and need an internet connection.
During local testing, the prompt asked for something with hands that cannot clap. Submitting clock changed SCORE 0 to SCORE 57 on desktop and SCORE 56 on mobile, with a BASIC label and a positive score overlay. Scores vary; these are observed test results, not a promised score.
The game fits tested desktop and mobile viewports without horizontal overflow. Its text field works with the mobile keyboard, and the same submit action produced a scored response.
The captured advertising script is omitted. The mirror blocks third-party authentication and Firestore endpoints; guest daily scoring worked without them. If the original question service changes or stops, this local frontend alone cannot replace that backend.
The homepage needs time to receive daily data before RUN is pressed. An early click produced Question 1 placeholder text during testing; waiting for initialization resolved it. This limitation is disclosed instead of presenting a loading screen as finished gameplay.
How it was made and where it lives
Hosted on the author's own page. The author publishes as Last Minute Productions / Lastminute.games (@lmpgames). Original: https://stranded.run/. Self-hosted English game frontend and artwork; not an offline game. The original creator's cloud function supplies the daily questions and scores answers, so an internet connection and that service are required. Desktop and mobile guest answer submission changed the score during testing. Advertising script omitted; third-party authentication and Firestore endpoints are blocked by the mirror. Sign-in, account synchronization and a complete six-question finish are not verified. Allow the daily questions to finish loading on the home screen before pressing RUN.
