A 45-second city rampage on a pastel tabletop block: pick Munch the dinosaur, Bongo the gorilla or Bolt the robot, then claw down 16 toy buildings, throw cars, stomp, and chain wrecks into a combo. It ends on a score, a rank stamp and a challenge link a friend can open to play the same block.
Monster Block is a 45-second arcade game about wrecking a small city. You play a toy monster on a tabletop-style block of 16 pastel buildings, cream ground and rounded trees, and the aim is to knock down as many buildings as you can before the clock runs out. There are three monsters to pick from, Munch (a green dinosaur), Bongo (an orange gorilla) and Bolt (a blue robot). There is no enemy and no way to lose; the only pressure is the timer.
It is Tony's own game. Tony (X handle abc30037274) posted it on 18 September 2026 in Chinese, saying he made it in about 30 minutes with GPT-6 Astra, that the assets came from the Tripo 3D API, and that he deployed it online, with a link to monster-block.tripo.page. That is the address this page points to. Tripo's prompt page for it lists Tony as the author and describes its own text as an edited rebuild specification prepared from the original source and the deployed game, not a verbatim original prompt.
The game is heavily branded by Tripo, the 3D-asset company, and it lives on Tripo's own page host. The header reads "3D character by Tripo", and yellow "Create with Tripo" buttons appear on the start screen, the pause card and the result card. Tony's post and Tripo's page do not say whether he has any other connection to Tripo, and I could not find out.
How to play Monster Block — 45 Seconds to Wreck the City
- On the start screen pick a monster and press Let's wreck it. The clock starts almost at once: when I looked, one second in, it already showed 43 or 44. Walk with WASD or the arrow keys. Hold Space to smash the nearest building, and each hit knocks it down a little further until it collapses in a puff of debris. Press E to pick up a nearby car, and E again to throw it at a building. R is a ground stomp that hits everything around you and recharges in 7 seconds, with a countdown on its button. Esc or the pause button stops the clock.
- Score and buildings destroyed (out of 16) are at the top. Wreck buildings within 3.5 seconds of each other and a "x2 CHAOS COMBO" tag appears, and the game's own help text says clearing the whole block gives a time bonus. In my runs, the first building I clawed down was worth 341 points. A single car grabbed at the start and thrown at the building next door took it down without a claw and scored 376. My short runs ended with three or four buildings wrecked and between 1,581 and 3,412 points. I never cleared all 16, so I did not see that bonus screen.
- When time runs out you get a Damage Report with your score, buildings wrecked, best combo and your best score so far, plus a rank stamp. The stamps below are from the game's code, and I only saw the second: Minor Inconvenience for fewer than 3 buildings, Neighborhood Nuisance for 3 to 8, Certified Menace for 9 to 15, Blockbuster for all 16. Wreck It Again restarts on the same block.
- Every block is a layout you can share. Today's block is picked from the date (it was block 919 when I played), and New block on the start screen steps to the next one. Challenge a friend copies a link ending in ?block=...&beat=..., where beat is your score; whoever opens it plays the same layout and sees your score as "Friend's score", and gets "Friend's score beaten!" if they top it. It needs no server, since the block number and score are just in the address. Save scorecard downloads a 1080 by 1350 PNG (I got one), and Save replay downloads a recording of your run (I got a 7 MB MP4 for one round).
Controls: WASD or the arrow keys walk, hold Space to smash the nearest building, E picks up a nearby car and E again throws it, R is a ground stomp that recharges in 7 seconds, Esc pauses. On a phone: a joystick plus Smash, Grab car and Mega stomp buttons.

Why it's worth your time
Credit first: the idea and the game are Tony's. The 30-minute build time, the Astra credit and the claim that the character assets came from the Tripo 3D API are all from his post, and I cannot check them from here. What I can say is that all three monsters are real animated 3D models that idle, run and swing, and the buildings and cars are simple procedural shapes.
It looks good and reads instantly. The buildings are terracotta, mustard, teal and sage boxes with dark windows on a square tabletop platform, and small HOTEL and NOODS signs. Some rooftops and cars carry Tripo logos; as far as I could tell those are decoration and advertising, not power-ups. The English and Simplified Chinese versions are both complete: the button at the top switches them in place and remembers your choice, and the Chinese names for the monsters are different (Munch is "阿猛", Bongo "橘拳", Bolt "蓝电").
It plays on a phone. Under emulated touch in portrait there is a joystick on the left, and a large Smash button and smaller Grab car and Mega stomp buttons on the right. I held Smash with one finger while steering with another and it wrecked three buildings. Nothing scrolled sideways at 390 pixels wide.
The live page also sends visit and play events to outside analytics services (a PostHog project and a page-view counter), and loads a Cloudflare beacon. This site's copy does not: the analytics addresses are blocked, and I removed the page-view script tag from the mirror by hand. Best score, language and monster choice are kept in your browser's local storage, not on a server. The whole mirror is 9 MB and runs offline.
This game was found through Tripo's GPT-6 Astra prompt collection, where it is listed with a link to Tony's post. A challenge link copied from this site's copy opens this site's copy.
How it was made and where it lives
Published on tripo.page, the hosting Tripo (a 3D-asset company) uses for the recreations of GPT-6 Astra demos in its prompt collection. The author publishes as abc30037274. Original: https://monster-block.tripo.page/. The Play button above runs our own unmodified copy, so the game keeps working here if that page goes down — which on free hosting usually has nothing to do with the author. Nothing about the game itself is changed, and the original stays linked from every page.

Tony@abc30037274GPT6 Astra is so strong at 3D! I spent about 30 minutes with GPT-6 Astra and made a playable little 3D game. Honestly it's a bit simple. Assets: the Tripo 3D API. The rest: GPT-6 Astra, playable straight out of one shot, and I deployed it online. monster-block.tripo.page

Frequently asked questions
- Is this Tony's own game, or a Tripo rebuild?
- It is Tony's own. His X post says he made and deployed it, and links this exact address; Tripo's prompt page credits him as the author and says its prompt text is a rebuild specification written from his source and the live game. Tripo hosts it and puts its branding on it.
- How long is a round, and can I lose?
- 45 seconds. There are no enemies and no health, so you cannot lose; the round just ends. Clearing all 16 buildings ends it early and, according to the game's help text, gives a time bonus.
- How does the challenge link work?
- It copies a link to the same page with ?block=
&beat= added. Anyone who opens it gets the same building layout and sees your score to beat. No server is involved. This game records nothing about who beat whom. - Does it work on a phone?
- Yes, with a joystick and three on-screen buttons. I checked it with touch events in an emulated iPhone 13 in portrait, not on a real handset.
- Do I need Tripo or an account?
- No. It is free with no sign-up. The Create with Tripo buttons just open Tripo's site in a new tab.
- Are the monsters models I can use?
- They are Tripo-made 3D characters shipped as .glb files inside the game. The game states no licence, so treat them as the author's and Tripo's, and do not assume you may reuse them.
- Is Monster Block — 45 Seconds to Wreck the City free to play?
- Yes. Everything on Floating Arcade is free, with no account, ads or downloads.
- Can I embed this game on my own website?
- Yes — copy the snippet below. The embedded player links back here, which is how we ask to be credited.
