An arcade spy platformer with guarded floors, moving elevators and red intel rooms. Recover three dossiers and find the escape route. This is the creator's playable work in progress, not a finished campaign.

Shaft Runner is JakeAI's English arcade spy game. Move between guarded floors, enter red rooms to recover intel and use the elevators to reach the escape route.

This player serves a local snapshot of the creator's WIP v0.13, including its embedded runtime resources. Original game and credits · Creator announcement.

How to play Shaft Runner

  1. Choose Start mission to enter Operation NIGHT DOSSIER.
  2. Move with arrows or WASD. Space jumps, X fires and E enters nearby doors or calls an elevator.
  3. Find the three red intel rooms, recover their dossiers and escape. Lifts connect different floor ranges.
  4. On touch screens, drag the thumb compass sideways to walk or vertically to operate a lift. Vault, Fire and Interact provide the action buttons. Landscape is recommended.

Controls: Start mission. Arrows or WASD move and operate lifts; Space jumps, X fires, E opens a door or calls a lift. On touch screens drag the thumb compass and use Vault, Fire and Interact. P pauses.

Why it's worth your time

A real English browser game rather than the announcement's static promotional video.

Keyboard and touch-compass tests both moved the player from x180 to beyond x298 in the opening mission.

The captured build keeps the creator's Phaser MIT and CC0 art credits. No remote runtime requests were observed during the opening-mission tests; a full two-mission completion is not claimed.
