Ski Cross (SKICROSS, 滑雪竞速) is a downhill ski race: beat three named rivals — NOVA, LYNX and MIKA — down a 2,400-metre course while an avalanche stays a fixed distance behind you the whole way, tracked on its own "avalanche distance" (雪崩距离) meter. The title card's own line: "beat 3 opponents, cross the finish line and outrun the avalanche" (超越3名对手，冲过终点并逃离雪崩).
It is the fourth of four small games Sonic的奇思妙想 (@sonic0828) posted on X on 9 September 2026, alongside Underground Boxing, Shell Squad 3D and Street Kid, all made with GPT-6 Astra and self-hosted on the author's own domain.
The presentation goes further than the other three: a lighting toggle switches the whole run between day, dusk and night, and a separate button swaps to a chase camera behind your skier — controls the other games in the batch don't bother with.
How to play Ski Cross
- Click 开始速降 (Start) on the title card.
- A and D steer; Space jumps; Shift dashes; S or the down arrow slows you down.
- On a phone, on-screen buttons cover the same ground: ‹ › to turn, ↗ to jump, a gauge button and a highlighted lightning-bolt button for the speed boost.
- A live rank list (top left) tracks your position against the three rivals as you race; speed, an energy meter and a score sit in the corner opposite.

Why it's worth your time
It is a genuine 3D course rendered on a WebGL2 canvas, not a side-on 2D runner — the HUD's chase-camera toggle only makes sense because there is a real 3D scene behind it.
The day/dusk/night switch is available before and, from the same control cluster, during a run — a presentation detail none of the other three games in this posting batch include.
Like Street Kid, it ships full on-screen touch controls rather than leaving phone players stuck with a keyboard-only build.
