A colorful underwater arcade game where a small fish hunts prey while avoiding larger predators. Eating fills the finesse meter and increases speed and points, while dash and bubble-push inputs help navigate danger.

Finesse Frenzy is FlyingTurtle’s underwater arcade demo. Eat smaller fish, avoid predators, and keep the draining finesse meter topped up to increase your speed and score.

This page runs the actual self-hosted English Godot demo, not a trailer. Original game by FlyingTurtle · Creator’s original X post.

Why it's worth your time

The runtime, game pack, artwork and original audio worklet are served from this site. Large assets are reassembled from local chunks to fit the hosting platform’s per-file limit.

Desktop acceptance reached the actual swimming level and a score of 10 after mouse and dash input, rather than stopping at a menu or loading canvas.

The first download is about 200 MB. Allow time for loading. The original build emits animation and focus warnings. Browser testing also observed an optional pointer-lock rejection, while absolute mouse play and scoring still worked. Only a short gameplay session—not every level—has been tested.

How it was made and where it lives

Hosted on the author's own page. The author publishes as FlyingTurtle (@FlyingTurtle296). Original: https://flyingturtlegamedev.itch.io/finesse-frenzy. Self-hosted English HTML5 demo by FlyingTurtle. The complete Godot runtime and game pack are served locally in size-bounded chunks, including the original audio worklet. Desktop menu, level selection, tutorial, swimming, dash input and a score of 10 were verified. The original demo emits animation/focus warnings and an optional pointer-lock rejection was observed during browser testing; absolute mouse play still worked. This is not a full-game completion claim.
