Explore a 3D shop, collect scattered rubber ducks in a basket and sort them onto the right shelves. Duck Store by JL includes several shop sizes and a timed mode. This is the actual English/French browser game, not a gameplay video.
Duck Store is a first-person rubber-duck sorting game by JL / Youkoulailay. Walk around a brightly coloured shop, collect scattered ducks in your basket and return matching types to their shelves.
This page runs the actual self-hosted browser game, with the creator's English and French runtime. Original game and online rankings · Creator's original post. The original leaderboard announcement is not used as a substitute for the playable build.
How to play Duck Store
- Select Express for 100 ducks and choose Enter the shop.
- Use WASD to move and the mouse or arrow keys to aim. Click or press E while aiming at a duck to collect it in your basket.
- Find the shelf for the types you are carrying, aim and interact again to put matching ducks away. The game's rules describe a five-second penalty for the wrong shelf.
- F drops a carried duck, Shift runs, Space jumps, M toggles the map and P pauses. Controls can be remapped in the original game's Controls menu.
- On a phone, use landscape orientation: the left stick moves, the right stick looks, and a quick tap on the right stick interacts. The game includes larger shops and a Time Attack mode; these longer modes are not part of the opening-interaction acceptance test.
Controls: Choose Enter the shop. WASD moves, the mouse or arrow keys aim, and click or E picks up ducks and shelves matching ducks. F drops a duck, Shift runs, Space jumps, M opens the map and P pauses. On phones use the left stick to move and the right stick to look; tap the right stick to pick up or shelve. Landscape is recommended.
Click Fullscreen above the game for the largest play area. If the game does not load, use Open in new tab to play it directly from our copy.
Why it's worth your time
The actual Three.js shop and gameplay run locally, including original English/French text and locally captured fonts. Sound is synthesized by the game.
Desktop keyboard movement, camera aim and duck pickup are tested against real position and basket changes. A landscape touch-phone context is tested using real stick movement, touch camera controls and a pickup tap.
The original global leaderboard requires a separate server, which is not reproduced here. The local edition disables score submission and explicitly identifies online rankings as available on the original site; it does not display invented results or silently call a missing local API.
The screenshot shows actual play. Opening movement and pickup acceptance is not a claim that every duck, achievement, shop upgrade or timed mode was completed.
How it was made and where it lives
Hosted on the author's own page. The author publishes as JL · Youkoulailay. Original: https://duck.wildcode-solutions.com/?mode=100. Self-hosted Duck Store browser build by JL / Youkoulailay. Original English and French runtime, Three.js, fonts and procedural shop are hosted locally. Local movement and duck pickup are verified. The original global leaderboard backend is not part of this standalone copy; score submission is disabled and the game explicitly labels the leaderboard offline.
